L - Brake Noise

L1- Pedal Noise
- Inspect brake pads and shoes for excessive wear and service as required.
- "START" and run engine at "FAST" idle for 10 seconds or longer.
- Apply brake pedal and listen for noise. Compare results with known good system.
- Was noise present ?
YES - Go to L2.
NO - Vehicle OK.

L2- Check Push Rod
- Check power brake booster push rod alignment and travel.
- Is push rod OK?
YES - Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic System.
NO - Replace power brake booster.
