Parking Brake System: Service and Repair

1. Remove console. Refer to Body and Frame.
2. Press down on pawl while pulling on parking brake cable and equalizer.
3. Press down hard on pawl while releasing tension on parking brake cable and equalizer.
4. Adjuster will stay released as long as no tension is applied to parking brake cable and equalizer or the parking brake control handle is not moved.
