J8 - Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System

^ Go to Pinpoint Test HV and perform the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system diagnostic procedures. See Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Testing and Inspection.

^ Is the EVAP system OK?

YES -- If automatic transaxle, go to J9. J9 - Check Torque Converter System

YES -- If manual transaxle, go to J10. J10 - Check Basic Engine

NO -- Service as necessary.
