A5 Check PATS Module (If Equipped) Antitheft and Alarm Systems
- Disconnect PATS module connector.
- Disconnect and reconnect ohmmeter as in A1.
Does ohmmeter read above 1M Ohm and drop steadily to less than 3K ohms?
Yes
REPLACE PATS module.
RESTORE vehicle.
REPEAT self test.
No
Go to A6.

A6 Check RAP Module (If Equipped) Keyless Entry Module
- Disconnect RAP module connector C2.
- Disconnect and reconnect ohmmeter as in A1.
Does ohmmeter read above 1M Ohm?
Yes
REPLACE RAP module.
RESTORE vehicle.
REPEAT self test.
No
SERVICE Circuit 1001 (W/Y) for short to ground.
RESTORE vehicle.
REPEAT self test.
