J4 Check Circuit 31S (BK/2) For Short to Ground

- Ignition switch in OFF position.

- Install Rotunda 60-Pin Breakout Box 007-00033 and ABS Breakout Box Adapter 997-00115 or equivalents to the ABS harness connector. Do not attach the hydraulic control unit.

- Measure the resistance between breakout box circuit 31S (BK/W) and ground.

- Is the resistance greater than 10 K ohms?

YES -- Go to J5. J5 Check Circuit 31S (BK/W) For Open

NO -- Service circuit 31S (BK/W) for short to ground. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
