C7 - Check Wires to Safety Belt Retractor Motor

- Key OFF.

- Disconnect the passive restraint control module connectors C1 (driver's side inoperative) or C2 (passenger's side inoperative).

- Disconnect the rear shoulder strap switch connector on the inoperative side of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistances of the "BL/GN" and "BR" wires (driver's side inoperative) or "Y/GN" and "W/BK" wires (passenger's side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and the rear shoulder strap switch connector.

- Are the resistances less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Replace the passive restraint control module.

NO -- Service the wire(s) in question.
