AIS20 - IMRC Solenoid Functional Check

^ Disconnect vacuum hose to the IMRC solenoid and unplug electrical connector.

^ With solenoid de-energized, confirm that the solenoid inlet (bottom) port holds vacuum and the outlet (top) port vents vacuum (use hand vacuum pump/gauge or equivalent).

^ Energize solenoid (use battery voltage and note wire harness connector polarity) and confirm that an applied vacuum signal passes from the inlet to the outlet port.

^ Does the solenoid pass both functional tests?

YES -- Check PCM and wiring system Go to Pinpoint Test KT1. Return to AIS13 after service is made in Pinpoint Test to confirm system function. AIS13 - Check Both Lt and Rt Bank IMRC Function at Idle

NO -- Replace solenoid. Return to AIS13 after service to confirm proper system function. AIS13 - Check Both Lt and Rt Bank IMRC Function at Idle
