J4 Check Circuit 31S (BK/W) For Short to Ground

- Ignition switch in OFF position.

- Install Rotunda 60-Pin Breakout Box 007-00033 and ABS Breakout Box 007-00115 or equivalents to the anti-lock brake control module harness connector. Leave anti-lock brake control module disconnected.

- Measure resistance between breakout box circuit 31S (BK/W) and ground.

- Is the resistance less than 10K ohms?

YES -- Go to J5. J5 Check Circuit 31S (BK/W) For Open

NO -- Service circuit 31S (BK/W) for open. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
