KF16 - Check Circuits From HFC Relay to Fan

- Key "OFF".

- Low Fan Control (LFC) relay disconnected.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Insert a jumper wire between High Fan Control (HFC) test pin 31 and test pin 40 at the breakout box.

- Key "ON".

- Does fan run at high speed?

Yes -- Replace LFC relay. Remove breakout box. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Remove jumper. Go to KF17. KF17 - Check HFC Power-to-Fan Voltage At Fan
