D2 - Check Wires to B-Pillar Limit Switch

- Key OFF.

- Locate and disconnect the passive restraint control module connector #1 (driver's side inoperative) or #2 (passenger's side inoperative).

- Disconnect the B-pillar limit switch connector on the inoperative side(s) of the vehicle.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/R" wire (driver's side inoperative) or "W" wire (passenger's side inoperative) between the passive restraint control module connector and the B-pillar limit switch connector.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Go to D3. D3 - Check B-Pillar Limit Switch

NO -- Service the wire in question.
