FA1 - Check Fuel Pump Motor

WARNING: Fuel in the fuel system remains under high pressure even when the engine is not running. To avoid injury or fire, release the fuel pressure from the fuel system before disconnecting any fuel line.

To release fuel pressure, refer to the Fuel Pressure Release Procedure. Fuel Pressure Release

Fuel Pressure Test Setup:

^ Connect Rotunda Fuel Pressure Tester 014-00748 or equivalent to the fuel filter with main valve closed and drain valve closed.

Data Link Connector:

^ Jump the fuel pump test terminal to ground.

^ Key "ON".

^ Is the fuel pressure 265-314 kPa (38-46 psi)?

YES -- Go to FA2. FA2 - Voltage to Fuel Pump

NO -- Replace the fuel pump.
