Deflection adjustment

1. Measure the accelerator cable (9A758) deflection at the deflection checking point midway between the accelerator cable bracket (9723) and the throttle control lever (9A776). The deflection should be 1-3mm (0.04-0.12 inch).

Accelerator Cable Bracket:

2. If necessary, loosen the locknuts on the accelerator cable bracket and adjust the cable deflection until it is within specification.

3. After the proper deflection is achieved, tighten the accelerator cable bracket locknuts.

NOTES:

^ The accelerator cable connects to the lower half of the throttle control lever

^ If unable to set both accelerator cable (9A758) deflection and wide open throttle position, then accelerator travel needs to be adjusted.
