TF3 - Check TSS or OSS Resistance

- Key "OFF".

- Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) / Output Shaft Speed Sensor (OSS) disconnected.

- Measure resistance of TSS/OSS sensor.

For AX4S/CD4E Transmission:

- Is resistance between 80 and 200 ohms?

For AODE/4R70W Transmission:

- Is the resistance between 450 and 750 ohms?

Yes -- Go to Transmission and Drivetrain to verify internal components. It OK, then replace PCM. Remove breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Replace TSS. Remove breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
