DD32 - Check Vacuum to EGRV Solenoid

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect the EGR Vacuum (EGRV) solenoid input port vacuum source hose.

- Install a vacuum gauge at the disconnected end of the input port vacuum source hose.

- Key "ON", engine idling.

- Observe the vacuum gauge reading.

- Is vacuum greater than 33 kPa (10 in-Hg)?

Yes -- Remove vacuum gauge. Reconnect vacuum hose. Go to DD33. DD33 - Check EGRV Solenoid Valve Function

No -- Check vacuum hose to the EGRV solenoid. If OK, check vacuum source for the solenoid. Service as necessary. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
