X105 - KOEO/KOER DTC 1460: Check WAC Circuit For Short to Power

Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and Key On Engine Running (KOER) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 1460 indicates a WAC circuit fault.

NOTE: Verify A/C and Defrost were off during KOEO/KOER Self-Test. If vehicle Is not equipped with A/C, the WAC circuit is not used and the DTC 1460 can be Ignored.

Possible Causes:
- A/C on during Self-Test.
- Open or shorted circuit.
- Damaged CCRM.
- Damaged PCM.

- Key Off.

- Disconnect CCRM.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Key On.

- Measure voltage between Test Pin 69 (WAC) and Test Pins 51 and 103 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Key Off.

- Was voltage less than 1.0 volt?

YES -- GO to X106. X106 - Check WAC Circuit For Short to GND

NO -- SERVICE WAC circuit short to power. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
