HV9 - DTC 0443: Check CANP Resistance

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 0443 indicates a failure in the CANP solenoid circuit.

Possible Causes:
- Damaged CANP solenoid.
- CANP SIG harness circuit open.
- VPWR harness circuit open.
- CANP SIG harness circuit short to VPWR.
- CANP SIG harness circuit short to PWR GND or SIG RTN.
- Damaged PCM.

- Key Off.

- Disconnect the CANP solenoid.

- Measure CANP solenoid resistance.

- Is the resistance between 30 and 90 ohms?

YES -- CANP solenoid is OK electrically. Go to HV10. HV10 - Check VPWR Circuit Voltage

NO -- CANP solenoid is out of specification. REPLACE CANP solenoid. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
