HE85 - Check EVR Vacuum Output By Grounding EVR Circuit

- Key Off.

- Breakout box installed, PCM connected.

- EVR solenoid connected.

- Disconnect vacuum hose at the EGR valve and connect to a vacuum gauge.

- Key On, engine running.

- With engine at idle, jumper Test Pin 47 (EVR) to chassis ground.

- Is vacuum gauge reading 4.0 inHg or greater?

YES -- REPLACE damaged PCM. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- REPLACE damaged EVR solenoid. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
