HE73 - Inspect DPFE Sensor Pressure Hoses

DPFE Hose Connections:

- Key Off.

- Visually inspect both pressure hoses for reversed connection at DPFE sensor or at orifice tube assembly.

- Inspect both hoses for improper routing. Hoses should not be pinched or have dips where water could settle or freeze.

- Inspect both hoses for leaks and blockage.

- Inspect DPFE sensor and orifice tube assembly for blockage or damage at the pick up tubes.

- Is there a fault detected?

YES -- SERVICE pressure hoses as necessary. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- RECONNECT all components. GO to HE74. HE74 - Measure VREF Voltage at DPFE Sensor Harness Connector
