DR2 - Clear and Attempt to Regenerate DTC 0340

- Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Start engine.

- Increase rpm to greater than 1500 rpm for 10 seconds. Repeat two times.

- Key Off.

- Retrieve all Continuous DTCs.

- Is DTC 0340 present?

YES -- Go to DR5. DR5 - Check Continuity to PCM

NO -- The fault that produced DTC 0340 is intermittent. Go to Pinpoint Test Step Z1 with the following data: CID PID and list of Possible Causes. Z1 - Intermittent Test Procedure
