BPA1 - Check IAC Valve Resistance

^ Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve connector.

^ Connect Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter or equivalent to the terminals of the IAC valve and check the resistance.

^ Is the resistance 6.0 - 14.0 ohms?


YES -- Go to BPA2. BPA2 - Check BPA Valve Function

NO -- Replace the IAC Bypass Air (BPA) assembly, or IAC valve.
