Air Door Cable: Adjustments

Temperature Control Cable
1. Move temperature control lever to COLD position.
2. Insert cable locating key E7GH-18C408-A through cam key slot to the heater case key boss opening, Fig. 45.
3. Disconnect cable from the retaining clip nest to the temperature control cam.
4. Connect cable to the retaining clip.
5. Remove cable location key.
6. Verify temperature control lever moves its full stroke.

Mode Selector Cable
1. Move mode selector lever to the DEFROST position.

2. Insert cable location key E7GH-18C408-A through mode cam key slot and heater case key boss opening to secure the cam in proper position. Fig. 46.
3. Remove trim panel below glove compartment.
4. Disconnect cable from retaining clip next to the mode selector cam.
5. Move mode selector lever to DEFROST position and connect cable straight to retaining clip.
6. Remove cable locating key and reinstall trim panel.
7. Verify mode selector lever moves its full stroke.

Recirc/Fresh Air Cable
1. Move recirc/fresh air lever to FRESH position.

2. Insert cable location key E7GH-18C408-A through fresh air door cam key slot and recirc door key boss opening to secure cam in proper position. Fig. 47.
3. Disconnect cable from retaining clip next to recirc/fresh air cam.
4. Connect cable to retaining clip.
5. Remove cable locating key and install glove compartment.
6. Verify recirc/fresh air lever moves its full stroke.
