Removing, Installing Cylinder Head Cover






Removing, Installing
1 Remove spark plug cover (1)

NOTE: Unscrew bolts (2)

2 Remove ignition coils (3)
3 Detach dipstick guide tube for automatic transmission at cylinder head

NOTE: Only if automatic transmission fitted

4 Unscrew screws (4)
5 Take off cylinder head cover (5)

NOTE: Installation: Inspect condition of gasket (6), replace if necessary.

- Clean sealing surfaces.

6 Install in the reverse order

Inspecting
7 Ensure gaskets of cylinder head cover (5) are correctly installed
8 Check for leaks.
