Transmission Does Not Shift Out of 1st Gear

Cause/remedy:

1. Check governor pressure.
If there is no governor pressure. the drive gear for the centrifugal governor may be broken. If the plastic valve (25) in the bottom cover is defective, the spring of this valve may block the gears of the secondary pump.

2. Remove secondary pump, replace if necessary.

3. Replace plastic valve (25) in bottom cover.
