Oil Leaks at the Governor Pressure Measuring Connection

Vehicle with external upshift delay

Cause/remedy:






Deformed pressure oil line at governor pressure measuring connection (MR).

1. Loosen bracket for the upshift delay solenoid valve (Y3/2) on the transmission housing. Unscrew oil line (O) on centrifugal governor cover and pressure oil line on governor pressure measuring connection (MR).

2. Install banjo bolts with new aluminum sealing rings. Tighten the pressure oil line first (MR). Then tighten the oil line (O) and bracket for the upshift delay solenoid valve.
