Double Engagement Jerk After Engaging Drive Position "D".

Cause/remedy:

Change oil in transmission, drain oil from converter and transmission.

Caution!
The transmission must only be filled with this automatic transmission fluid in the event of a repair for engagement jerk complaints. The transmissions which have had an oil change must continue to be filled with this automatic transmission fluid during an oil change. Attach a suitably completed oil note to the oil filler pipe.

Note:
Only assess the engagement process after a distance of approx. 500 km. if the engagement process is not satisfactory after changing the transmission oil, proceed as follows:

1. Engagement jerk in "D": Observe play in brake band B2 or replace brake band B2.

2. Only replace externally-toothed disc carrier K2 if the contour has worn or the externally-toothed disc carrier has sunk in the center.
