Arm Rest: Service and Repair

Removal





1 Loosen inlay and remove.





2 Unscrew screw on recess.





3 Remove actuating switch of electric window openers at rear doors. For this purpose, unclip springs below and at top on switch with a flat, wedge-shaped tool (flattened welding wire, if applicable, pull out switch and separate plug connection).





4 Push off cover.





5 Pull out cover and unscrew screw located underneath.





6 Unscrew both screws on arm rest and remove arm rest.

Installation

7 For installation proceed vice versa.

Note: The screw at top of hand grip is microencapsulated. Either renew or secure with screw locking compound (tightening torque 6 Nm).
