Cause/remedy:

1. Incorrect adjustment of the vacuum control valve on the injection pump incorrect.

2. Adjust vacuum control valve, by preloading the vacuum control valve 1-2 mm above the wide open throttle stop.

If there are further complaints:

3. Remove shift valve body.

4. Up to transmission no. 3 497 055
Remove spring from converter adaptation regulating valve (5).

5. Replace spring from operating pressure regulating valve (26).
