Pronounced Engagement Jerk after Engaging Selector Lever Position
"D"and "R" or Double Jerk

Cause/Remedy:

This complaint is a matter of opinion. A slight engagement jerk is standard. If the transmission is shifted rapidly several times from "R" - "D" - "R" a harsh engagement process is normal.

1. Check idle speed and emission value in accordance with the specification.

2. Check play in B2.

3. Check damper (53) and regulating valve (58) in the shift valve body for ease of movement.
