Kick-down Down Shifts Without Actuating the Kick-Down Switch

Cause/remedy:

1. Check control pressure cable and throttle control, adjust if necessary.

2. Check "B" switch (Model 140 with M119/M120).

3. Remove kick-down solenoid valve. Check O-ring on the solenoid valve and needle valve for dirt and ease of movement.

4. Check kick-down switch, (jams in operating position), replace if necessary.
