Front Satellite Radio Antenna Cable

Removal
NOTE: The middle satellite radio antenna cable is part of the vehicle wiring harness. Because the cable cannot be removed from the harness, this procedure applies to replacement of the cable only.
NOTE: For vehicles with navigation, a splitter is built-in to the front satellite radio antenna cable to split the satellite radio and the Global Positioning System (GPS) signals.
Front cable
1. Remove the Audio Control Module (ACM) and disconnect the satellite radio antenna connection(s). For additional information, refer to Audio Control Module (ACM) Audio Control Module (ACM).
- For the front satellite radio antenna cable on vehicles with navigation, disconnect the splitter.
2. Remove the instrument panel side trim panel and remove the glove compartment. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Service and Repair Instrument Panel - Exploded View.
3. Remove the right lower cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View.
4. Disconnect the satellite radio antenna cable in-line connection(s) at the lower right side of the cowl.
5. Detach the two pin retainers and remove the satellite radio antenna cable.
Middle cable
6. Remove the instrument panel side trim panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel - Exploded View.
7. Remove the right side lower cowl side trim panel, the right side front door scuff plate, right side lower B-pillar trim panel, right side rear door scuff plate, right side C-pillar trim panel and the right side quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View Service and Repair B-Pillar Trim Panel C-Pillar Trim Panel - Lower C-Pillar Trim Panel - Upper.
8. Disconnect the satellite radio antenna cable in-line connection(s) at the lower right side of the cowl and at the right side quarter trim panel.
Rear cable
9. Remove the headliner. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.
10. Remove the satellite radio antenna cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation
Front Cable
1. Install the new satellite antenna cable and secure the pin-type retainers.
2. Connect the satellite radio antenna cable in-line connection(s) at the lower right side of the cowl.
3. Install the right lower cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View.
4. Install the instrument panel side trim panel and install the glove compartment. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel - Exploded View Service and Repair.
5. Install the Audio Control Module (ACM) and connect the satellite radio antenna connection(s). For additional information, refer to Audio Control Module (ACM) Audio Control Module (ACM).
- For the front satellite cable on vehicles with navigation, connect and secure the splitter.
Middle cable
6. Overlay the new satellite radio antenna cable on the vehicle wiring harness, following the routing of the original cable.
7. Secure the new satellite radio antenna cable to the wiring harness with tape or zip ties as necessary.
8. Connect the satellite radio antenna cable in-line connection(s) at the lower right side of the cowl and at the right side quarter trim panel.
9. Install the right side lower cowl side trim panel, the right side front door scuff plate, right side lower B-pillar trim panel, right side rear door scuff plate, right side C-pillar trim panel and the right side quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View Service and Repair B-Pillar Trim Panel C-Pillar Trim Panel - Lower C-Pillar Trim Panel - Upper.
10. Install the instrument panel side trim panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel - Exploded View.
Rear cable
11. Connect the rear satellite radio antenna cable to the antenna.
12. Install the headliner. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.
