Removal





WIPER AND WASHER: WASHER MOTOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Remove the front bumper cover Removal.

4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

5. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

(a) Remove the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump, and drain the washer fluid.





6. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and washer inlet.





7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Headlight Cleaner System:

(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

(1) Disconnect the 4 connectors.

(2) Loosen the clip and disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.





(c) Remove the 3 bolts. Then remove the windshield washer jar and pump.





8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield washer motor and pump.

9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Remove the headlight cleaner motor pump.

10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Remove the headlight cleaner control relay.
