DESCRIPTION

The rear multiplex network door ECU RH (rear door ECU RH) operates the motor of the rear curtain sub-assembly RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.

(b) Check for DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.

Result

B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CAN Communication System
A -- Continue to next step.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REAR RIGHT DOOR)

(a) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the rear door sunshade system operates Rear Door Sunshade System.

Rear Right Door

OK:

Rear curtain is operated normally.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN RH - REAR DOOR ECU RH)

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN RH - REAR DOOR ECU RH)

(a) Disconnect the O2 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the O5 curtain connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (REAR CURTAIN RH)

(a) Remove the rear curtain RH Removal.

(b) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain RH.

Standard:

(d) Measure the waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

Measurement Condition

NG -- REPLACE REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

OK -- REPLACE REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH Removal
