1UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL RELIEF VALVE: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION Removal

2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

(a) Discharge fuel system pressure Service Precautions.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Remove the intake manifold Removal.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the engine cover from the engine.

6. REMOVE FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the No. 1 fuel pipe.





(b) Disconnect the No. 3 fuel hose from the relief valve.

(c) Using a 14 mm deep socket wrench, remove the relief valve and gasket from the No. 2 delivery pipe.
