Removal





SEAT: REAR SEATBACK HEATER (for Ottoman): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER Removal

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Removal

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH Disassembly

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH Disassembly

11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

12. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU LH Disassembly

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH Disassembly

14. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP LH Disassembly

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK BASE LH Disassembly

16. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH Disassembly

17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.





18. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH Disassembly

19. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH Disassembly

20. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH Disassembly

21. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Disassembly

22. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU RH Disassembly

23. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH Disassembly

24. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP RH Disassembly

25. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK BASE RH Disassembly
