DESCRIPTION

The clearance sonar main switch is installed in the outer mirror switch assembly. When the clearance sonar main switch turns ON, the ON signal is input into the ECU through the CAN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MAIN SWITCH)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the clearance sonar main switch is functioning properly.

Intuitive P/A

NG -- CHECK FUSE (D-IG1-1, D MPX-B 1)

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Intuitive Parking Assist System

2. CHECK FUSE (D-IG1-1, D MPX-B 1)

(a) Remove the D-IG1-1 and D MPX-B 1 fuses from driver side junction block.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR SWITCH POWER SUPPLY)

(a) Disconnect the L6 switch connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Intuitive Parking Assist System
