DESCRIPTION

When the AFS ECU detects a malfunction in itself, a DTC is output.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC

(a) Check for DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B2420 output does not occur.

NG -- REPLACE AFS ECU Removal

OK -- NORMAL
