AUDIO / VIDEO: AMPLIFIER ANTENNA: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the procedures up to "Remove Roof Headlining Assembly".

3. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Disengage the clamp and remove the 2 nuts.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the amplifier antenna assembly.

NOTICE:
If reusing the removed amplifier antenna assembly, do not touch the contact terminals.
