WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH Removal
6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 3 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 3 screws.
(b) Remove the clip.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts.
(d) Disengage the guide and remove the No. 3 cool air intake duct sub-assembly.
10. DRAIN WASHER FLUID
(a) Disconnect the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.
HINT
Use a container to collect the washer fluid.
11. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect each connector.
(b) Remove the bolt.
(c) Pull the upper part of the washer jar and pump upward to remove it from the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.
(d) Remove the 3 bolts and the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.
12. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
