Installation

SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.





(b) Fully tighten the bolt [A] first, then the bolt [B] to install the front seat outer belt assembly.

bolt A - Torque : 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

bolt B - Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
Securely lock the locking button.

(d) Connect each connector.

(e) Install the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

(a) Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly through the front quarter trim panel assembly.

(b) w/ Front Center Speaker:

(1) Connect the connector.

(c) Engage the 4 clips.





(d) Install the front quarter trim panel assembly with the 5 bolts.





3. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

(a) Install the belt guide.





(1) Engage the 3 guides.

(2) Engage the 3 claws to install the belt guide.

(b) Connect the anchor part of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly through the front quarter trim panel assembly.

(b) w/ Front Center Speaker:

(1) Connect the connector.

5. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) w/ Belt Tension Sensor:

(1) Pass the wire harness for floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly through the floor carpet.





(2) Engage the 2 clamps and connect the connector.

(3) Connect the anchor part of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(b) w/o Belt Tension Sensor:

(1) Connect the anchor part of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

(c) Engage the 4 clips.





(d) Install the front quarter trim panel assembly with the 5 bolts.





(e) Install the belt guide.





(1) Engage the 3 guides.

(2) Engage the 3 claws and install the belt guide.

6. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the lap belt outer anchor cover.





7. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY WITH REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Installation

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH Installation

11. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH LH Installation

12. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH RH Installation

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

14. CLOSE METALTOP ROOF Installation

15. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
