SEAT BELT: FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal Service Precautions.
* When disassembling the clock assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

6. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

7. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Removal

13. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Multi-display) Removal

14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Multi-display) Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Multi-display) Removal

16. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Multi-display) Removal

17. REMOVE CLOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Multi-display)

(a) Remove the 6 screws.

(b) Disengage the 5 claws and panel.

(d) Disconnect the connector.

(e) Remove the clock sub-assembly.

18. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display) Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Multi-display) Removal

20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Multi-display) Removal

21. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display) Removal

22. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display)

(a) for DVD:

(1) Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.

(2) Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (with a diameter of 1.5 or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as it may damage the clock assembly.

HINT
If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in-vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).

(3) Insert a screwdriver from the underside of the hazard switch, and pull and remove the clock assembly.

Do not pry on the hazard switch with the screwdriver as it may damage the switch.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) for HDD:

(1) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the clock assembly as shown in the illustration.
