Installation

DOOR / HATCH: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Tie the string in the engine compartment to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Pull the string until the hood lock control cable assembly stopper contacts the grommet, and then install the cable as shown in the illustration.

(c) Engage the clamp.

(d) After pulling the end of the hood lock control cable assembly into the cabin as shown in the illustration, remove the string.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

(b) Engage the 3 claws and install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Installation

6. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH Installation

7. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly.

(b) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly and connector.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK NUT CAP

(a) Install a new hood lock nut cap.

9. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Engage the clamp.

(b) Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 3 screws.

10. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection

12. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Adjustments

13. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH Installation

17. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

18. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

19. ADD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

20. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

21. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments

22. PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments

23. INSPECT FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments

24. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments
