AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL: REAR AXLE CARRIER: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR AXLE CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Hold the rear axle assembly between aluminium plates in a vise.

NOTICE:
Do not overtighten the vise.

(b) Install the parking brake anchor block sub-assembly, cable support bracket and parking brake plate sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 76 Nm (770 kgf-cm, 56 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 WHEEL BEARING DUST DEFLECTOR Installation

4. INSTALL REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY
