Installation

4GR-FSE CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the generator bracket with the bolt (A).





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the generator bracket with the bolt (B).

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(d) Install the bracket with the nut.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(e) Install the generator wire to terminal B with the nut (A).





Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)

(f) Install the terminal cap.

(g) Install the clamp bracket with the bolt (B).

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(h) Attach the 2 clamps, and connect the generator connector to the generator.

2. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS

(a) Install the wire harness with the 3 nuts (A).





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 connectors (B).

3. INSTALL NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE COVER Installation

5. INSTALL RADIATOR INLET HOSE Installation

6. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation

8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection

9. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS Testing and Inspection

10. INSTALL NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER Installation

11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

13. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
