OTHER SYSTEM: CLOCK: REMOVAL
NOTICE:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When disassembling the clock assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.
1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal
2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal
3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal
4. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal
5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal
6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

(a) Remove the 6 screws.
(b) Disengage the 5 claws and integration control panel.
(c) Remove the 9 screws and cover.
(d) Disconnect the connectors.
(e) Remove the clock assembly.
20. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display) Removal
21. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Multi-display) Removal
22. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Multi-display) Removal
23. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display) Removal
24. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display)
(a) for DVD:
(1) Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.
(2) Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (with a diameter of 1.5 mm or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as it may damage the clock assembly.
HINT
If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in-vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).
(3) Pull and remove the clock assembly.
(b) for HDD:
(1) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the clock assembly as shown in the illustration.
