SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
(a) Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the 2 clamps.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER Reassembly

3. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD Reassembly

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH Reassembly

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH Reassembly

6. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Reassembly

7. CONNECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the 4 clamps to connect the front seat side airbag assembly wire harness.

(c) Engage the fastener.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks and install the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board sub-assembly to the front seat frame.

10. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Installation

11. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Installation

13. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Installation

14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Installation

15. ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK (for Front Passenger Side)

16. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

17. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
