SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the guide to temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.





(b) Fully tighten the bolt [A] first, then the bolt [B] to install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.





(b) Fully tighten the bolt [A] first, then the bolt [B] to install the front seat outer belt assembly.

Bolt A - Torque : 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

Bolt B - Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Securely lock the locking button.

(d) Connect the connector.

(e) w/ Pre-collision System:

(1) Connect the connector.

(f) Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH Installation

4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH Installation

5. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(b) Check if the ELR locks.

NOTICE:
The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.

(1) With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

6. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

(a) Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

7. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

for LH Side: Installation

8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

for LH Side: Installation

for RH Side: Installation

10. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE Installation

12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

13. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE Installation

14. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH Installation

15. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Installation

16. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Installation

17. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Installation

18. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
