Pre-Collision System

PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Codes.

(e) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

(f) Check the details of the DTC(s) Pre-Collision System.

HINT
As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-collision system, be sure to check the Pre-Collision and Pre-Collision 2 DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Codes.

(e) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

(f) Clear the DTCs.

HINT
As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-collision system, be sure to clear the Pre-Collision and Pre-Collision 2 DTCs.
