SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Occupant Classification ECU, Occupant Classification Sensor): REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION

Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System for HDD:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform registration Registration.
* When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check Initialization.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Refer to the procedure up to Remove Front Seat Assembly Removal.
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
4. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
5. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
9. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (w/o Memory)

10. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Memory)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH
HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Disassembly.
12. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the claw to separate the pressure hose.
NOTICE:
Do not kink the pressure hose.
(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and occupant classification sensor.
