2GR-FSE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL INLET WATER WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket and the inlet water with thermostat sub-assembly with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the inlet water with thermostat sub-assembly and secure it with the clip.

HINT
* Make sure that the claws on the clip are positioned as shown in the illustration.
* Dimension "a" in the illustration (between the hose end and the clip end) should be 1.0 to 5.0 mm (0.0393 to 0.196 in.).
* Connect the hose until it makes contact with the stopper. (Dimension "b" should be 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.))

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

5. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

6. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER Installation

7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
