Removal





AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO ANTENNA CORD: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the lower instrument panel sub-assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disconnect the connector.





(b) w/ Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(c) Remove the nut.

(d) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the roof headlining assembly Removal.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Peel the strips of tape used to secure the antenna cord only to the extent that allows removal of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

HINT
Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the roof headlining so that the tape can be reused.

(b) Remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining.

5. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disengage the 2 claws.





(2) Disconnect the connector.

(3) Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.





(b) w/ Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disengage the 4 claws.





(2) Disconnect the 2 connector.

(3) Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.
